Greatest Movie Villains: Maynard from "Pulp Fiction"
This is one evil guy. This is the kind of guy who gives Creepy Southern Murderous Pawn Shop Store Owning Rapists a bad name. Plus, I don't think any character has ever said the line "the spider just caught a couple flies..." and then ended up being a good guy. Maynard gets bonus points for keeping a leather-clad sex slave in a box in his store's basement.
The Gimp was a profound, conflicted man and one of the world's brightest lights. He will be missed dearly.
It's also quite perverse how Maynard just watches his companion Zed rape Marcellus Wallace. Maynard doesn't get involved. He just stands in the back sweating and whispering encouragement like "Get that ass." Is Maynard not interested in participating? Did Zed call "all-time rapist" or something?
Slashed and stabbed with a samurai sword by Bruce Willis, Maynard went up to that big pawn shop in the sky. He lived his life with no regrets and he died like the dashing rogue that he was.
Maynard from "Pulp Fiction", you are one of the Greatest Movie Villains.
